2013_eusewThe EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is an initiative of the European Commission, which first took place in 2006. It is designed to spread best practices, inspire new ideas and build alliances to meet the EU energy and climate goals. Through bright activities all over Europe it showcases renewable energy solutions and how each of us can live a more energy efficient life.

 

European Sustainable Energy Week in Ukraine

eusew2012Ukraine joined the EU Sustainable Energy Week for the first time in 2011.  Since then Ukrainian cities host events to promote renewable energy in their communities.

Sustainable Energy week in Ukraine consolidates the efforts of ecological NGOs, state institutions, think tanks and business in many cities across Ukraine.

Participants of the EUSEW provide outdoor presentations, displays, games for children, seminars and workshops, ecological movie screening and many more activities.

The overall campaign of the EUSEW emphasizes personal responsibility of each citizen for energy efficiency.
